Zandvoort F1 Track
The first real formula one race counting for the world championship was held in 1955.
Zandvoort f1 track. It will return to the formula one calendar in 2021 as the location of the revived dutch grand prix. The small and classic zandvoort track returns to the f1 calender. After its huge success it was decided to build a permanent facility. The zandvoort track swoops and flows through the sand dunes creating a rollercoaster like feel to the lap.
From 1952 onwards zandvoort had its slot on the formula 1 calendar. Circuit park zandvoort is a motorsport race track located in the dunes north of the town of zandvoort in the netherlands near the north sea coastline. And while the circuit will be modernised in time for f1s 2020 return including increasing the banking angle at the famous tarzan corner to an indianapolis motor speedway trumping 18 degrees zandvoort will remain a proper challenging drivers track. The first race at that circuit was held on 7 august 1949.
The track was first used on august 7 1948 and hosted the first dutch grand prix. The track have a lot of diffenrent high speed corners and the expected lap time at the formula 1 grand prix in 2020 are 110.
